Mahjong Table

This is the project that got me into Greene and Greene. A new neighbor had a finished basement with Stickley furniture and wanted a Mahjong table. The combination of arts and crafts and Asian theme gave me the chance to put the Greene brothers design vocabulary into my own variation. The table used Blacker chair leg details, cloud lift aprons with proud finger jointed drawers. The playing surface is in a tansu shape.
